This unit provides learners with the understanding, knowledge and skills required to become competent workers and to be accountable for the quality of their work and their professional development. It provides understanding of the role of regulation and the importance of working in partnership.
Upon completion of this unit, the learner will:

Our blended learning approach means you have the flexibility to build your knowledge at a pace that works you via our online portfolio of learning materials. Whilst any practical training requirements can be delivered at one of our Training Centres in Antrim, Armagh, Ballymena, Banbridge, Belfast, Newtownabbey, Dublin and Monaghan. Alternatively, we can deliver the practical training within your workplace, or any other suitable venue in Northern Ireland (NI) or the Republic of Ireland.
