Unit 203 - Communication & Information Sharing

This unit provides learners with the understanding, knowledge and skills required to communicate in a range of situations, as well as ensure records and reports are maintained in line with the policies and procedures.

Upon completion of this unit, the learner will:

  • Understand the importance of communication

  • Be able to meet the communication and language needs, wishes and preferences of individuals

  • Know how to reduce barriers in communication

  • Understand how to apply principles and practices relating to handling information

  • Be able to respond to complaints effectively

Our blended learning approach means you have the flexibility to build your knowledge at a pace that works you via our online portfolio of learning materials. Whilst any practical training requirements can be delivered at one of our Training Centres in Antrim, Armagh, Ballymena, Banbridge, Belfast, Newtownabbey, Dublin and Monaghan. Alternatively, we can deliver the practical training within your workplace, or any other suitable venue in Northern Ireland (NI) or the Republic of Ireland.
