Unit 303 - Communication & Information Sharing

This unit provides learners with the understanding, knowledge and skills required to communicate successfully, as well as ensure records and reports are maintained in line with the organisations policies and procedures.

Upon completion of this unit, the learner will:

  • Understand the importance of communication and information handling

  • Be able to meet the communication and language needs, wishes and preferences of individuals

  • Be able to overcome barriers to communication and information handling within limits of own role

  • Be able to apply principles and practices of confidentiality

  • Be able to implement and support good communication

  • Understand how to respond to complaints

Our blended learning approach means you have the flexibility to build your knowledge at a pace that works you via our online portfolio of learning materials. Whilst any practical training requirements can be delivered at one of our Training Centres in Antrim, Armagh, Ballymena, Banbridge, Belfast, Newtownabbey, Dublin and Monaghan. Alternatively, we can deliver the practical training within your workplace, or any other suitable venue in Northern Ireland (NI) or the Republic of Ireland.
