The EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force on the 25th of May, 2018. All businesses that handle personal data must ensure that they are aware of the new rules and must ensure that have appropriate processes in place to comply with the law.

This course will provide an introduction into:

• What GDPR is

• How to collect, maintain and store information effectively and appropriately

• Staff responsibilities in relation to data handling

• Organisation responsibilities in relation to data handling
