Lone Worker

A lone worker is an individual who spends a large percentage of their working time in isolation, has no interaction with co-workers and without close or direct supervision. With the number of lone workers increasing across a number of industries, it is important for organisations to have effective training in place to protect and safeguard the employees this may affect.

This course will:

  • Explore the concept of lone working

  • Look at legislation around the topic

  • Highlight employee and employer responsibilities

  • Look at the importance of risk assessment and appropriate control measures

There is a short quiz at the end of the unit and upon completion a printable certificate will be provided.
